Welcome to the L3 Engineering Blog.

At the moment students are embarking on their L3 Engineering work. Mr Hore is covering the Engineering and Business side (EG301) while Mr Frogley is covering the CAD unit (EG302).

Important dates for your diary;

EG301 External Examination, a 1h30m paper, will be on Wednesday 11th Jan 2012 at 0900.

The CAD unit assessment is due for completion in the lesson on Wednesday 9th November.

After EG302 is completed we will start on the Maintenance Unit, EG305, aiming to complete this in the first week of December. All lesson time after this will concentrate on the forthcoming exam.

Things you can do....
start looking for a suitable work experience placement. Dates to put forward to your host are Feb 1/2 term, 1 week at Easter, Whitsun break in June, then the Year 12 work experience week at the end of the academic year. Ideally, think about what sort of project you might light to accomplish during your time in work experience.
